6 years have passed since then.
It reminds us that there were various feelings and strong conflicts.
The scenery from the window. The scenery makes people feel beautiful. The scenery causes fear.
The windows installed in the exhibition room produce the “visible” and “invisible” situation mechanically and forcibly
The same scenery looks different depending on personal experiences.
This project attempted to crisscross people who have different consciousness in the same exhibition room.

When I saw what I could not see, 2017

From that incident, we had to see that the beauty and horror were inseparably related.
And from then we had to experience the time that followed.
6 years since.
Based on the pride of our motherland, we are trying to recuperate the beauty of the land and the daily lives.
But in that process, the difference of the awareness among various areas and communities has widened and it seems to happen within the same property.
Whether it is good or bad, I do not know. But we have seen extreme irrationality and conflict, and remembrance to the respectful memories.
I have cut out a scenery that surely exists in front of our very eyes and reconstructed it by two different methods and arrangements.
Is there any way to measure the distance between the psychology and the reality that one faces, the distance between one and the substance, the time and distance?
I hope this will be a place to confront many different themes in silence.
